If you’ve been following along for awhile now, you know that Rich and I take an annual trip to a cabin in Vermont during the fall to get away from it all and welcome the new season. Since we’ve been doing this for several years now, I’ve got a versatile packing list down that allows me to pack lightly, using pieces that can mix and match to work for everything from hiking and hanging by a fire outside to cozying up with a book. With this list, you’re able to put together at least six different outfits and have a pair of cozy pajamas to lounge in.
This outfit is great for hiking–the boots will get you through any trail and strategic layering will allow you to peel off pieces if you get warm. A durable backpack for carrying water and snacks is also a must.
If you’re staying near a town, this is a great outfit for running to get a coffee or hitting the farmer’s market. The bag is big enough to carry any food or knick knacks you decide to pick up.
Cozy layers and comfy jeans–this would be perfect for hanging out by the fire. If you’re near water this would be a nice one to go boating in, too.
Great for hanging out playing games, reading or cooking–indoors or outside.
For the day you want to keep it super comfy with leggings, but still want to look polished.
OUTFIT #6
You can’t go wrong with a grandpa cardigan. Again, this outfit works for hanging inside or out.
For those lazy mornings and chill evenings where you just want to lounge in your pajamas.
