Here we are not even halfway through the month of June, and I’ve already been to the beach six times. I’m taking having fun this summer seriously, and that also includes keeping things stylish and comfortable. Jumpsuits and rompers are some of my favorites for summer (the roomier, the better) because they’re as easy as throwing on a dress, and create a put-together look for whatever summer things you want to get up to (I wore this one as a beach coverup last weekend). This banana leaf tie-back number is Who What Wear for Target and was only $36! I love the print, the light linen fabric, and am living for the wide leg pant. In other news…

As I’m writing this post, the hubs and I JUST booked tickets to L.A. for the end of June/beginning of July. I can’t wait to get back there! I still have so many pics and stories about my trip there in January that I want to post to the blog, but now I’m thinking I should wait until after this trip to post everything all at once. Why am I heading back out there so soon, you ask? A few reasons, really:

1. Because it’s L.A. (duh!)
2. To hang with my girl Alyssa of Runway Chef. She’s hosting a party with Allagash Brewing, and knowing her entertaining prowess, it’s going to be awesome.
3. I haven’t mentioned this to y’all yet, but we’re considering moving out there! We’ve lived in NYC for over ten years now, and are itching for a change of pace. So a big part of this trip will be exploring neighborhoods to see if anything would be the right fit for us in terms of the vibes and the price. Nothing is set in stone yet, but I’ll keep you posted.

Do you have any summer trips planned? This is the first of ours. I think we’ll be heading home to visit family a little later, too.
