There’s something to be said about the time of year when you’re finally able to walk around your apartment or house without big fuzzy socks on (other than remind yourself to vacuum more often). Because it means that sandal weather is on the horizon. And while the temps may not be currently warm enough everywhere to put on a pair of flip flops, it is warm enough for one of my favorite shoe styles–MULES.  They’re the perfect transitional shoe for that in-between spring and summer season.

If I had to count them, I’d say I think I own about six pairs of mules…and that’s saying a lot because we have limited space in our apartment for a shoe wardrobe (anyone got a walk-in closet they’d like to share with me?). Two of my most recent additions are these lavender bow tie shoes (under $30!), which I randomly picked up at Target when running an errand. Go figure Target would lure me in.  And I bought the glitter heel gold and green pair from RAYE to wear in the evenings during my honeymoon in Mexico a couple months ago.

In other news…

I got a DM on Instagram today that meant so much to me. Often as a blogger, I wonder if I’m just throwing stuff out into the internet stratosphere only for it to get sucked into a black hole of no one caring. The message was from someone who said that they don’t know me personally, but have been following me for awhile. She said she’s been having some tough times lately and that my posts make her smile and lift her up. Let me just say, that’s EXACTLY why I do what I do. To create a space for women that openly talks about positivity, struggles, ups, downs, living life, and making the most of it. All the things that we as multidimensional woman goes through daily. So needless to say, today is a good day. I hope things are going the same for you!!
