One of the best parts about fall is bringing out the boots, and I’m loving all of the 2017 fall boots that are out right now. So many brands are now offering affordable options, which means you can stock up on a few different pairs to keep your wardrobe fresh this season. To get the most mileage out of them, I would choose one (or more!) ankle boot, one knee-high or over-the-knee boot and one trendy boot. That way you’ll have something to pair with dresses, jeans, skirts and everything else in between.

Classics like the Chelsea boot never go out of style, but this year, I’ve seen some really cool updates to these, like a gold heel or a metal ring on the zipper (both versions are below). Other boot trends that are hot for 2017 are silver metallics, combat boots, and white patent leather. All of these are statements that really make an outfit. The combat boots look great with something feminine like a silk slip dress–the contrast is grunge-chic. White patent leather boots work with everything from a white tee and jeans to a long floral dress. And you can treat the silver metallic ones like a neutral, wearing them with all different types of outfits.

The glitter boots are my favorite (I already bought a pair!), and I think I’m going to get the pointed toe white boots, too.
